ACUPOINT.IO
Stop memorising the points. Start understanding them.
Behind every point there is a function, and behind every function a web of relationships. Here you follow them one by one, by asking, instead of learning them as a list.

What changes
A list is memorised. A web is understood.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is not a catalogue of points: it is a system of relationships. This tool exists to let you see them.
From the entry to the reason
Not only where a point lies, but what it does — and why the tradition attributes that to it.
The atlas read by relationship
Points organised by meridian, function and energetic effect: the same material as the manuals, but travelled by its connections.
What ties one point to another
Why two distant points act together, and how they hold within the systemic view of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The questions that open things up
Ask 'why' and not only 'which': the answer goes behind the name, where the sense of what you are studying lives.
The thread does not break
One question leads to the next within the same conversation. That is how a subject settles, rather than starting over each time.
You always know what it rests on
What comes from the material carries the passage it came from, and what comes from outside is declared as such. You do not have to trust it: you can look.

The path
How it works
Six steps, from the first question to the overall view.
Start from a point
Any one: the one you are stuck on, or the one you thought you knew.
Ask what it does
Not the definition to be committed to memory: the function, and the reason the tradition grants it.
Follow the connection
From there it widens — the meridian, the points that act together, the effects that echo one another.
Check it at the source
Every answer carries the passage it came from, so what you have understood can also be verified.
Come back and ask again
Doubts arrive later, on re-reading. Pick the thread up where you left it, without starting over.
See the whole
Follow enough threads and the points stop being a list and become a system.

The points are not a list to be committed to memory
Come in and try asking why about a point you think you already know. That is where the difference shows between knowing it and having understood it.

What is Acupoint.io?
A platform for understanding acupuncture points, not for memorising them. You ask a question in your own words and receive a reasoned answer; when it rests on material loaded into the platform, it shows you the passage it came from.
Does it replace traditional study or a school?
No, and it is not meant to. It supports study: the relationship with a teacher, guided practice and the path of a school remain irreplaceable.
Is it a clinical or diagnostic tool?
No. It makes no diagnosis, proposes no therapy and gives no treatment guidance. It is there to study and to understand, not to decide anything about a person.
Is it only for doctors?
It is built for people who work in the field — clinicians, practitioners, researchers — and it speaks to them. Access is not closed, though: anyone studying the subject may come in, knowing they will find the language of the trade.
Does the material follow classical Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Answers stay within the tradition the platform is devoted to. When they come from loaded material they show the passage, so you can go back to the text; when they show none, there is no platform text behind them and the checking is left to the reader.
Does the AI decide what to recommend?
No. It neither recommends nor chooses: it sets out what it finds, and for the part that comes from the material it shows which passages it came from. The judgement stays with the person studying.
Do I need a subscription?
No. There are twenty free credits to try it with, and a single payment for those who want to carry on. No automatic renewal, no expiry date.
What are credits and how do they work?
One credit is one question. Signing up gives you twenty of them, once: enough to judge whether the platform suits you. The paid plans add five hundred or a thousand, which stay available with no time limit.
Does the material carry legal or academic standing?
No. The platform issues no qualifications or certificates, and does not stand in for a recognised course of training.
Is there any support?
Yes. From inside the platform you can write in to report a problem or ask for clarification. The material is widened and corrected over time.
Why study Traditional Chinese Medicine with an AI?
Because the subject is made of relationships, and relationships do not fit in an entry. A conversation lets you follow a thread from one point to another; a manual, by its nature, can only list them.
